My Practice
I am a certified Level 1 AcroYoga Teacher with AcroYoga International (October 2020 Berlin generation :).
Acro Yoga is an integration of yoga, acrobatics and Thai massage that cultivates trust, playfulness, and connection. The practice of AcroYoga helps you to build strength, flexibility, and body awareness.
I came across AcroYoga by chance, in a park in Russia in 2013.
I was fascinated, so I approached the 3 people and 10min later I was off the ground and upside down. Although I didn’t know them, I felt connected. Returning to Leicester, there was no Acro Yoga – so I began to share my first skills and build up a community. I love all elements of Acro Yoga, the flying, the basing, and spotting. I love the adrenaline and excitement of learning new and challenging tricks as much as going over familiar flows and poses, and connecting with my partner.
To me, practising and teaching Acro Yoga is not about pushing yourself and others out of our comfort zone to grow, but to grow comfortable with our abilities and bodies, and simply to find joy and play.

What does it look like:
I will lead a warm up and teach AcroYoga skills in the 90mins, followed by some jamming and Thai Massage.
Classes are based on your voluntary contribution of £7-10.
(If you can't afford it, we will work something out, and if you can easily afford that or more, you can be part of welcoming someone who can't.)
